Pumpkin Patch

I LOVE this time of year!  There's so much to do and so many memories to make!  I have to admit, the pumpkin patches around here are a little pathetic.  I can definitely tell we are not in Idaho any more when the pumpkin patch involves pumpkins sitting on a church lawn and a few photo props, instead of an actual patch where you can go pick your own! (Note to self: Next year I think we'll try our hand in growing a few!)
This year however, we found a fun little place that had an assortment of different activities.  It was quite a drive to get out to it, but worth it! (Please tell my husband that! lol)  The place was called Blessington Farms and was only $10 a person to get in.  Once in, the only thing you had to pay for was food!  So the price was awesome compared to some other patches in the area.
Because it was so far away, I was surprised at how busy it was!  I guess everyone decided it was worth the drive.  Even though it was packed, I never felt super congested and the only thing we had to wait in line for was the little train ride... and even then, it wasn't that long of a wait.
I felt like this place had some great activities for younger kids.  Campbell was awe struck by the baby camel!  They had a a couple of other animals there also, but we never made it past the camel!

They also had a (very) mini pumpkin patch... that was picked over,

 a fun little hay maze,

little blow up horses that you could bounce on, lots of fun slides,

 a train ride,

and a hay ride.  Oh and did I mention slides?  Lots and lots of sliding for this little family!

I'm sure there were more but I can't remember :)  There were a lot of fun photo op places as well... too bad I couldn't get the kids to cooperate!  But I do love how this pic turned out.

Although it was quite a drive, the kids had a lot of fun and slept so well when we got home!  We will definitely be going to Blessington Farms next year!  Hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween!
