I've been noticing something lately. I eat worse than anyone I know. I'm not kidding. I'm the friend that has to stop at McDonalds everyday for a diet coke, and more often than not, has to tack on a fry or a chocolate chip cookie. I'm the friend that always has to have a treat after each meal. I'm the friend that is constantly snacking, just because.
Well my waistline and energy level has been feeling it lately. I find that I'm always tired and groggy. When I'm teaching my yoga class, there's a lot more blubber hanging over the side of my yoga pants (pretty picture aint it?) and my 3 year daughter is starting to snack like crazy too!
If I don't change for my own health, I NEED to change for my families health.

I have to tell you, after reading the book, It Starts With Food, it made me excited to start this challenge. I love how real she is! I love that she states that if you don't like veggies, it's time to grow up and eat them anyway! She also points out that you CHOOSE to cheat. A cookie didn't just fly into your mouth. We make the choice.
My husband decided to take this challenge with me and we're really excited to change our behavior! I know it's not going to be easy (I mean, stop drinking Diet Coke??? C'mon!) but I know it will make us healthier and feel better. Whose in with me?
